El proyecto contar\u00e1 con una instalaci\u00f3n solar de 130 MW combinada con un sistema de almacenamiento de 260 MWh, impulsando la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica limpia de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Como segunda gran inversi\u00f3n solar de DESRI en el condado de Luna, tras el proyecto Alta Luna de 2017, Carne pretende apoyar el objetivo de EPE de lograr 80% de energ\u00eda limpia para 2035 y 100% para 2045.<\/p>\n<p>El Director de Desarrollo de DESRI, Hy Martin, expres\u00f3 su entusiasmo por seguir invirtiendo en la transformaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica de Nuevo M\u00e9xico con esta cuarta instalaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable a escala de servicio p\u00fablico en el estado. El proyecto ofrecer\u00e1 energ\u00eda limpia fiable y rentable a EPE, al tiempo que mejorar\u00e1 la estabilidad de la red y crear\u00e1 oportunidades econ\u00f3micas para las comunidades locales.<\/p>\n<p>Se ha firmado con EPE un acuerdo de compra de energ\u00eda por 20 a\u00f1os, y se espera que las operaciones comerciales comiencen en 2025. Se prev\u00e9 que la instalaci\u00f3n genere anualmente energ\u00eda limpia suficiente para abastecer a unos 37.600 hogares.<\/p>\n<p>El desarrollo inicial fue supervisado por Galehead Development y Lacuna Sustainable Investments. James Schichtl, vicepresidente de Asuntos Regulatorios y Estrategia de Recursos de EPE, subray\u00f3 que Carne ser\u00e1 crucial para cumplir los Est\u00e1ndares de Cartera Renovable de Nuevo M\u00e9xico y las necesidades de los clientes, especialmente con su componente de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas a gran escala.<\/p>\n<p>SOLV Energy ha sido designada contratista EPC y tambi\u00e9n se encargar\u00e1 de las operaciones y el mantenimiento una vez que el proyecto est\u00e9 operativo.
