Cette usine a r\u00e9cemment lanc\u00e9 la neuvi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Camry, \u00e9quip\u00e9e du syst\u00e8me hybride Toyota de cinqui\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pour l'ann\u00e9e mod\u00e8le 2025.<\/p>\n

L'usine de Caroline du Nord devrait atteindre une capacit\u00e9 de production de 30 GWh par an sur 14 lignes de production r\u00e9parties dans sept b\u00e2timents. Cette capacit\u00e9 comprend 10 lignes pour les BEV et les PHEV et quatre lignes pour les batteries HEV. D'ici 2028, l'usine devrait \u00eatre pleinement op\u00e9rationnelle et compter environ 5 100 employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

En plus de cette usine, Toyota a investi 1,3 milliard de dollars suppl\u00e9mentaires dans son usine de Georgetown pour soutenir la production d'un nouveau SUV \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 trois rang\u00e9es de batteries pour le march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain, dans le cadre d'un investissement plus important de 18,6 milliards de dollars dans la production am\u00e9ricaine pour faire progresser l'\u00e9lectrification.<\/p>\n

En outre, Toyota fait progresser ses projets de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne en collaboration avec ExxonMobil, ces v\u00e9hicules faisant actuellement l'objet d'essais sur route.
