Le projet comprendra une installation solaire de 130 MW associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de stockage de 260 MWh, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la transition vers une \u00e9nergie propre dans la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Deuxi\u00e8me investissement solaire majeur de DESRI dans le comt\u00e9 de Luna, apr\u00e8s le projet Alta Luna de 2017, Carne vise \u00e0 soutenir l'objectif d'EPE d'atteindre 80% d'\u00e9nergie propre d'ici 2035 et 100% d'ici 2045.<\/p>\n<p>Hy Martin, directeur du d\u00e9veloppement de DESRI, a exprim\u00e9 son enthousiasme \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e de continuer \u00e0 investir dans la transformation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du Nouveau-Mexique avec cette quatri\u00e8me installation de production d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle de l'\u00c9tat. Le projet offrira \u00e0 EPE une \u00e9nergie propre fiable et rentable tout en renfor\u00e7ant la stabilit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau et en cr\u00e9ant des opportunit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques pour les communaut\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n<p>Un contrat d'achat d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de 20 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 avec EPE, l'exploitation commerciale devant d\u00e9buter en 2025. L'installation devrait produire chaque ann\u00e9e suffisamment d'\u00e9nergie propre pour alimenter environ 37 600 foyers.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement initial a \u00e9t\u00e9 supervis\u00e9 par Galehead Development et Lacuna Sustainable Investments. James Schichtl, vice-pr\u00e9sident d'EPE charg\u00e9 des affaires r\u00e9glementaires et de la strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de ressources, a soulign\u00e9 que Carne jouera un r\u00f4le crucial dans le respect des normes de portefeuille renouvelable du Nouveau-Mexique et dans la satisfaction des besoins des clients, en particulier gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa composante de stockage sur batterie \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>SOLV Energy a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9 comme entrepreneur EPC et assurera \u00e9galement l'exploitation et la maintenance une fois que le projet sera op\u00e9rationnel.
