Ces mat\u00e9riaux solides ont des structures tr\u00e8s stables et ne sont pas facilement d\u00e9compos\u00e9s ou d\u00e9t\u00e9rior\u00e9s \u00e0 haute ou basse temp\u00e9rature, ce qui les rend moins sujets \u00e0 l'emballement thermique. Toutefois, leur conductivit\u00e9 est relativement faible et le contact interfacial doit encore \u00eatre optimis\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les batteries lithium-ion utilisent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des \u00e9lectrolytes liquides ou g\u00e9lifi\u00e9s constitu\u00e9s de solvants organiques dissous dans des sels de lithium. Si les \u00e9lectrolytes liquides ont une conductivit\u00e9 ionique et permettent de charger et de d\u00e9charger des courants \u00e9lev\u00e9s, ils pr\u00e9sentent \u00e9galement un certain risque de fuite. Lorsque la batterie est soumise \u00e0 des dommages physiques ou \u00e0 une surcharge, l'\u00e9lectrolyte liquide peut facilement provoquer des situations telles qu'un incendie ou une explosion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des piles \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat solide dans les applications pratiques se situe entre 300 et 400 Wh\/kg. Certaines batteries lithium-ion qui utilisent des mat\u00e9riaux et des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s plus avanc\u00e9s peuvent atteindre des densit\u00e9s \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de 300 Wh\/kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Capacit\u00e9<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certaines batteries \u00e0 semi-conducteurs de laboratoire ont atteint une capacit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure de 20-30% \u00e0 celle des batteries au lithium-ion, et leur d\u00e9gradation est plus lente lors d'une utilisation \u00e0 long terme. En outre, les piles \u00e0 l'\u00e9tat solide ont une structure plus stable, moins susceptible de subir une d\u00e9gradation des performances ou des probl\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dus \u00e0 la d\u00e9composition de l'\u00e9lectrolyte ou \u00e0 la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration du mat\u00e9riau de l'\u00e9lectrode.
