Il progetto prevede un impianto solare da 130 MW abbinato a un sistema di accumulo da 260 MWh, favorendo la transizione energetica pulita della regione.<\/p>\n<p>Secondo grande investimento solare del DESRI nella Contea di Luna, dopo il progetto Alta Luna del 2017, Carne mira a sostenere l'obiettivo dell'EPE di raggiungere 80% di energia pulita entro il 2035 e 100% entro il 2045.<\/p>\n<p>Hy Martin, Chief Development Officer di DESRI, ha espresso il proprio entusiasmo nel continuare a investire nella trasformazione energetica del Nuovo Messico con questo quarto impianto di energia rinnovabile su scala pubblica nello Stato. Il progetto offrir\u00e0 energia pulita affidabile ed economica all'EPE, migliorando la stabilit\u00e0 della rete e creando opportunit\u00e0 economiche per le comunit\u00e0 locali.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 stato firmato un contratto di acquisto di energia elettrica della durata di 20 anni con l'EPE e l'inizio delle operazioni commerciali \u00e8 previsto per il 2025. Si prevede che l'impianto generer\u00e0 ogni anno una quantit\u00e0 di energia pulita sufficiente ad alimentare circa 37.600 famiglie.<\/p>\n<p>Lo sviluppo iniziale \u00e8 stato curato da Galehead Development e Lacuna Sustainable Investments. James Schichtl, vicepresidente di EPE per gli affari normativi e la strategia delle risorse, ha sottolineato che Carne sar\u00e0 fondamentale per soddisfare gli standard di portafoglio delle energie rinnovabili del Nuovo Messico e le esigenze dei clienti, in particolare grazie alla sua componente di accumulo a batteria su larga scala.<\/p>\n<p>SOLV Energy \u00e8 stata nominata appaltatrice dell'EPC e si occuper\u00e0 anche delle operazioni e della manutenzione una volta che il progetto sar\u00e0 operativo.
