FAQ
• How Long Will a 30kwh Battery Last?
The 30kWh li ion battery has a lifespan of 12 years. When powering a 5000W device, it can be used for 6 hours.
• How Many Batteries Do I Need for 30kwh?
The Delong 30kWh solar battery is made up of 3 modules, with each module containing 16 or 32 cells. The entire battery system includes 48 or 96 cells.
• How Big Is a 30 kWh Battery?
The size of Delong 30kWh battery is 690×590×450/580mm.
• How Much Does a 30 kWh Lithium-Ion Battery Weight?
The Delong low voltage 30kWh lithium-ion battery weighs 255kg, and with the movable base, it weighs 270kg.
The Delong high voltage 30kWh lithium-ion battery weighs either 340kg or 372kg.
• How Much Does It Cost to Charge a 30 kWh Battery?
If the electricity cost is $0.1 per kWh and the charging efficiency is 95%, then it will cost $3.16 to charge the 30kWh battery.
30kWh ÷ 95% = 31.6kWh
31.6kWh × $0.1 = $3.16
• How Long Does It Take to Charge a 30kwh Battery?
The Delong 30kWh lifepo4 battery has a single module of 51.2V 200Ah, with a maximum charging current of 100A. The charging time is 2 hours: 200Ah ÷ 100A = 2h.
Of course, in real life, we also need to consider factors like charging efficiency. Additionally, to better protect the battery, we recommend a charging current of 40A.
• How Many Solar Panels to Charge a 30kwh Battery?
Assuming the solar panel has a power of 410W and receives 5 hours of effective sunlight each day, the energy generated by each panel per day is:
410W × 5h = 2050Wh.
The number of solar panels you need = 30,000Wh ÷ 2050Wh ≈ 15 panels.
This is just a theoretical value. In practice, factors such as local climate and solar panel efficiency should also be considered.
To make it easier for more users, Delong offers a complete 30kWh solar system. This system includes a 30kWh lifepo4 battery, a 10kW inverter, 410W solar panels, photovoltaic cables, MC4 connectors, and a toolkit. For more information, please contact us.
• What Is Meant by 30 Kwh in Case of Battery Rating?
30kWh means the battery can store and release 30 kilowatt-hours of energy when fully charged. This is how we measure the battery’s energy storage capacity.
• Is 30kwh a Day a Lot?
This needs to be analyzed based on actual energy usage.
For a family of 3-4 people, the daily energy consumption is usually between 10-20kWh. If your home uses high-energy devices for long periods, like central air conditioning, heating, or an electric vehicle charger, 30kWh of usage is possible.
For shops, studios, or small factories, a daily usage of 30kWh is normal.
If your daily energy consumption is around 30kWh, using a solar storage battery as an energy supplement is a good choice. It can help increase energy independence and reduce electricity costs.
• Can 30kw Power a House?
For a typical household, their power demand is usually between 5-10kW. Even if everyday appliances like the fridge, air conditioner, washing machine, TV, and computer are running at the same time, the maximum load generally doesn’t exceed 10kW. Therefore, 30kW is enough to power the entire house.
For villas or large homes, they may need to run pool heating systems, multiple central air conditioners, or electric vehicle chargers. While these devices consume more power, they generally use around 20-25kW. So, 30kW is still enough to keep the whole house running.
A 30kW system made of solar panels and storage batteries would be a great backup power solution. It can meet the home’s needs during peak electricity usage times. If you’d like to optimize your home’s energy needs, feel free to contact us for the best solution.
• How Long Will 30 Kwh Battery Last My House?
It depends on the house’s daily electricity usage and real-time power demand. The formula is:
Power supply time (hours) = Battery capacity (kWh) ÷ Load power (kW)
If your average load power is 3kW, the 30kWh home battery can power you for 10 hours.
30kWh ÷ 3kW = 10h
Additionally, factors like the battery’s effective capacity, the home’s electricity load, peak and off-peak usage, and the inverter’s conversion efficiency will affect the runtime.
• What Is the Range of a 30kwh Battery?
We need to know the vehicle’s energy consumption per kilometer (kWh/km):
Energy-efficient electric cars (like small sedans): ~0.12-0.15 kWh/km
Regular electric cars (like compact SUVs): ~0.15-0.20 kWh/km
High-performance electric cars (like luxury or large SUVs): ~0.20-0.30 kWh/km
Next, we calculate the vehicle’s range using the following formula:
Range (km) = Battery capacity (kWh) ÷ Energy consumption per kilometer (kWh/km)
For example:
0.12kWh/km (energy-efficient sedan): 30kWh ÷ 0.12kWh/km = 250 km
0.15kWh/km (regular sedan): 30kWh ÷ 0.15Wh/km = 200 km
0.20kWh/km (compact SUV): 30kWh ÷ 0.20Wh/km = 150 km
0.30kWh/km (high-performance SUV): 30kWh ÷ 0.30Wh/km = 100 km
Under ideal conditions, a 30kWh battery can provide a range of 150-250 kilometers.
• How Many 18650 Batteries Are Needed for a 30kwh Battery Bank?
Setup:
The 30kWh battery has a voltage of 48V and a total capacity of 625Ah:
Total capacity = Total energy storage needed (Wh) ÷ Battery voltage (V) = 30000Wh ÷ 48V = 625Ah
The 18650 batteries used are 3.6V and 3Ah each.
First:
we need to connect multiple 18650 batteries in series to achieve a 48V output. Each series requires 14 18650 batteries:
48V ÷ 3.6V ≈ 14 batteries
So, the series-connected battery group will be 48V 3Ah, containing 14 18650 batteries.
Next:
we need to connect these battery groups in parallel to achieve the 625Ah capacity:
The number of parallel battery groups needed = 625Ah ÷ 3Ah ≈ 209 groups
The total number of 18650 batteries needed = 209 × 14 = 2926 batteries
Approximately 2926pcs 18650 batteries are required to make a 30kWh battery group. Of course, this number depends on the target battery group’s voltage and the available energy ratio.
